Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Export/Operational Assistant to join our friendly and proactive Client in Basildon, Essex.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your role will primarily focus on supporting the smooth and efficient movement of goods across International Borders. You will assist in preparing and managing export documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
  • Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Understanding and applying customs procedures and requirements.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders like carriers, custom brokers and freight forwarders.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to shipments.
  • Assisting with booking and tracking of shipments.

You will need:

  • Prior experience in Freight Forwarding/Shipping Environment.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Export Experience required.
  • Experience within Cross Trade.
  • Assertive, able to motivate team members
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, and logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Be able to organise and multi-task.
  • Very Organised with willingness to take responsibility for own workload
  • Driver with own transport is desirable.
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
