CAD Technician Job Overview
  • Producing detailed and accurate CAD drawings for internal approval and client submissions
  • Collaborating closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure feasibility and technical accuracy
  • Assisting with project estimations and providing detailed technical documentation for quotations and tenders
  • Liaising directly with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure designs meet client requirements and specifications
  • Continuously updating drawings and designs as per project changes or client feedback
  • Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring effective communication within the project lifecycle
CAD Technician Job Requirements
  • Proven CAD Technician experience within the construction, storage, fit-out, or partitioning sectors preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, with additional knowledge of other design software beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Full UK driving licence advantageous but not essential
