Estimator Position Overview

Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for glazing projects.
Assess material, labour, and equipment costs, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and suppliers to gather necessary information.
Prepare and submit detailed and competitive bid proposals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and pricing.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather and verify project information.
Provide technical support and clarifications during the project bidding process.?

Estimator Position Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimating, specifically in aluminium and glazing.
Strong understanding of façade systems and materials.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Logikal.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel to various project sites across the UK as required.
