Position: Year 2 Class Teacher
Location: Basildon
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800) - Paid to scale (ECT & MPS)
Contract Type: Full-time (part time available)
Start date: September (or earlier if available)
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: As a Year 2 Class Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, fostering a love for learning among students.

Differentiated Instruction: Tailor teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately.

Classroom Management: As a Year 2 Class Teacher you will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.

Assessment and Feedback: Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.

Collaborative Planning: As a Year 2 Class Teacher you will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the overall learning experience for students.

Parental Engagement: Establish open and effective communication channels with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and opportunities for parental involvement.
Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1.

Thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a passion for delivering high-quality education.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
