Our dynamic client are currently recruiting for a permanent Digital Marketing Executive to work in their prestigious offices based in Basildon.

As the Digital Marketing Executive you will play a key role in evolving the digital presence for our client and supporting the rapid growth of our eCommerce fulfilment division. This role focuses on developing thier digital brand, executing targeted email and social media campaigns, maintaining website content, and supporting customer onboarding.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Media strategies to grow the online presence and increase brand visibility-particularly across platforms such as LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Create engaging, platform-specific content including posts, videos, info graphics, and other multimedia assets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align digital marketing efforts with broader marketing goals and campaigns
  • Monitor social media channels and performance metrics; analyse data to produce actionable reports and improve content strategy
  • Support the creation and management of paid social media campaigns - including audience targeting, analytics, and performance reviews
  • Write original content for web pages and blog posts that aligns with SEO best practices
  • Oversee the day-to-day management and upkeep of the company website (WordPress)
  • Assist with wider marketing efforts including publications, internal communications, and promotional materials
  • Manage general administrative tasks such as invoice approvals, meeting bookings, and minute-taking for bi-monthly marketing meetings
  • Actively contribute ideas and explore new marketing initiatives and channels
  • Assist in overseeing customer onboarding
  • Provide demonstrations of the companys systems, during customer onboarding
  • Triage sales enquiries if required

For this role you will require:

  • Experience in a marketing or social media role (in-house or agency)
  • Strong understanding and passion for social media, digital trends, and innovation
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts and platforms
  • Familiarity with paid social advertising (Google PPC, LinkedIn, and other platforms)
  • Proficient in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Integrated Interest
  • Website content management experience, ideally with WordPress
  • Comfortable working directly with external clients
  • Ability to analyse campaign data and produce insightful reports and recommendations

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
