About the Role
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing production processes and ensuring operational excellence. You will be the go-to expert on the production floor, working closely with various teams to troubleshoot issues and implement innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to refine assembly processes, providing your technical expertise.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth operations.
- Sign-off on all production assembly documents and maintain document control.
- Create jigs and fixtures that streamline assembly processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address build issues via email, Teams, or phone.
- Assist with New Product Introductions and optimise projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Support and mentor junior engineering team members.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience with manufacturing machinery in an engineering support role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in IT applications (Excel, Word, Publisher) and project management tools.
- A degree or equivalent experience in engineering.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
