Commercial Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Desk

Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission

East Bridge Recruitment is growing and we’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Commercial Recruitment Consultant to lead the building of a brand new commerical temp desk within our thriving agency.

Based in our modern Basildon office, this is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter with experience in commercial or office-based recruitment who’s ready to make a name for themselves and build a new desk on existing clients and develop new client relationships.

The Role

You’ll be building a brand new temp desk managing Commercial temps, supplying talented candidates for a range of roles including administration, customer service, reception, sales, HR, and more.

Your focus will be on

Maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing clients
Building new business through networking and outbound activity
Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for temporary assignments
Registering, interviewing, and supporting candidates
Working towards realistic targets with no micromanagement and genuine autonomy

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a temps desk recruitment role (commercial sector preferred)
Proven success in winning new business and retaining clients
Confident, professional communicator with strong organisational skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about recruitment
Team player who thrives in a supportive and fun environment
