Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Accounts Assistant/Manager to join their office in Basildon to support all day-to-day finance tasks. This is an excellent opportunity if you have experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, and Sage50.
Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations
- Handle credit control and invoice processing on Sage50
- Process payments, prepare statements, and support year-end with the external accountant
- Ensure financial procedures are followed
Experience Needed
- Experience in a hands-on accounts or bookkeeping role
- Sage50 knowledge is preferred
