We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic English department in Basildon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring students to achieve their full potential in English and will contribute to our vision of academic excellence.

About the English Teacher role:

As an English Teacher in this school, you will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a love of literature, language, and creative writing.

Key Responsibilities for an English Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Support students in developing their literacy skills across the curriculum
