We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants with SEN experience to join our welcoming and forward-thinking Special Educational Needs School located in Basildon, Essex.

About the School:
Our school provides a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for pupils aged between [insert age range] with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication challenges, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored education and holistic support to empower every learner.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to:
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans
Encourage the development of social and communication skills
Help manage challenging behaviour using a positive and therapeutic approach
Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment

Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
A calm, patient, and resilient nature
Ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team
Understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
