We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants with SEN experience to join our welcoming and forward-thinking Special Educational Needs School located in Basildon, Essex.


About the School:
Our school provides a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for pupils aged between [insert age range] with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication challenges, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to:
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans
Encourage the development of social and communication skills
Help manage challenging behaviour using a positive and therapeutic approach
Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment


Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
A calm, patient, and resilient nature
Ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team
Understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
