A career defining opportunity in a leading AV company who are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a fully-fledged AV Project Manager or a Senior AV Technician to progress into the position!

The Company


With a long-standing heritage this AV Production company are known for the seamless delivery of high production value events across a wide range of blue-chip clients. Although a highly recognisable name within the industry they are a small team that have retained their close knit and family run atmosphere. This is a place where people are trusted, developed and quickly flourish.

With new clients coming on board and existing clients growing there is now the opportunity for an Audio Visual / Technical Project Management role and fast track their career.

The Role


Utilising their full range of in house high end AV Tech (sound, lighting, projection etc) this role is broad, working with others in the team to deliver technically on mainly corporate conferences throughout the UK and working closely with clients to exceed expectations and keep them coming back for their next event.

Whilst no two days will be the same, the broad responsibilities include:

- Taking the brief from one of the company Directors

- Main point of client contact on site
- Reviewing the AV kit specified
- Site visits
- CAD plans (training can be provided)
- Liaising with their in house hire, warehouse and logistics teams
- Liaising with AV suppliers
- Booking and managing freelance crew
- Checking equipment prior to load out
- On site management of setup and operation

The Candidate


The ideal candidate will need strong technical experience across most areas of AV, in addition to being very confident and comfortable when dealing with clients on site. You will be the face of the company, so being able to communicate and build relationships with clients is paramount.

The role would suit a Technical Project Manager who is looking for a move to a boutique company where you will join a hard working and welcoming environment within a close knit team. Equally should you be looking for that next step in your career from a Senior AV Technician position, they would be able to provide the extra training you may need to succeed.
