We’re working with a leading Basingstoke based business to recruit a Management Accountant into their busy Finance Business Partnering and Reporting team, supporting their customer directorate.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Preparing timely, accurate management accounts and offering real insight to help drive decision-making.
- Producing detailed variance analysis and commentary, highlighting risks, opportunities and supporting reforecasting.
- Linking operational and financial data, ensuring the accounts properly reflect business activity.
- Supporting month-end processes, ledger controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Taking the lead on budget setting and forecasting, working closely with budget holders.
- Providing clear, confident financial reporting to non-finance colleagues across the business.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
- A natural communicator, able to build trust and explain financial information in a simple, clear way.
- Someone who is confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent Excel skills: experience with Agresso or Power BI would be a bonus, but not essential.
