Job Title: Temporary Assistant Accountant

?? Hourly Rate: £17.50-£20 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent following a team restructure. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journals in SAP.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations across 25–50 accounts.
- Manage intercompany transactions and ICP invoicing.
- Support cash and treasury operations, liaising with our Head Office in Italy to manage Euro and GBP accounts.
- Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journals in SAP.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and control.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to support ongoing changes and improvements within the finance function.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journals in SAP.
- Part qualified CIMA, ACCA or any other chartered accounting qualifications
- Experience working in a multinational company with multi-currency exposure.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and balance sheet management.
- Comfortable working with Euro and GBP accounts.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
