Product Quality Engineer

Location: Aldershot / Basingstoke
Salary: £35,000 £45,000 bonus (DOE)

Are you a passionate Product Quality Engineer who takes pride in delivering excellence? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking technology manufacturer known for its innovation, quality, and people-first culture.

Were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment someone who doesnt just follow processes but improves them. Youll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards across complex hardware, PCBA assembly, and finished product testing.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Work closely with production to ensure goods conform to specification through inspections, FAIRs, SCARs, and concessions.

  • Drive problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and complete CAPAs.

  • Manage customer returns, lead investigations, and ensure swift, effective resolutions.

  • Support customer manufacturing visits and contract reviews.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and implement process improvements.

  • Research and support the introduction of new processes and equipment to enhance product quality.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience in PCBA manufacturing is hugely desirable

  • Working knowledge of IPC Standards (IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001) would be superb

  • Background in a quality-focused environment

  • Strong attention to detail and a right first time mindset

  • Excellent communication and customer liaison skills

  • Experience with AS9100 standards would be advantageous

Occasional travel between sites may be required.
