We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team in the Basingstoke area. The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include:

  • Manage and improve the company's QMS, conducting internal audits against ISO9001 standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure the conformance of goods and sample inspection of manufactured products.
  • Support the introduction of NPI (New Product Introduction) products and process control.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts to identify root causes and complete CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Manage customer returns processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Evaluate processes and make continuous improvements, implementing new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Support customer visits, audits, and quality-based RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Oversee production documentation, including FAIR reports, SCAR reports, and concessions.

We're looking for a Quality Engineer who has:

  • Experience in PCB assembly and familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards.
  • A background in quality management and production documentation.
  • Knowledge of IPC Standards and ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Lean & Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • AS9100 knowledge is desirable.
