Temp to Perm Contract
Pertemps are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team and support a well-known Builder's Merchant in Basingstoke.
The role will be completing drops of building materials and drainage materials from site to clients across the region. You'll also be required to maintain health and safety standards of yourself and your vehicle.
This is a temp to perm opportunity with upskill training for the right candidate
Duties for the Class 2 role:
- Delivering building materials to clients across the region
- Operate Crane HIAB to load and unload goods onto the vehicle (full training will be provided)
- Build good relationships with customers
- Complete relevant safety checks on both vehicle and load before travel
To be considered for this job you must have the following:
- Full UK Licence, Digi Card & CPC
- HGV Class 2 qualified
- HIAB Ticket (not essential as training will be given)
- Builders Merchant experience (Desirable)
More about the role:
- Up to 18.00 per hour dependent upon experience
- Shifts are Monday to Friday 06:30 - 16:30
