Carpenter

We’re seeking an experienced Carpenter with proven expertise in fire door installation to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stability, progression, and varied work across multiple project types.

This is a temp to perm role with a respected contractor delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects around Berkshire/Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors to industry standards.

• Accurate fitting of frames, architraves, ironmongery, and seals.

• Conducting fire door surveys and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

• Completing first and second-fix carpentry tasks as required.

• Working across residential new builds, commercial developments, and refurbishment sites.

• Ensuring high workmanship standards and adherence to health & safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience specialising in fire door installation.

• Strong all-round carpentry skills.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.

• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
