Our client a leading window and door manufacturer are looking to recruit a Area sales Manager on a fulltime permanent basis to cover South of the Thames and south of the M4 Corridor. This is a new position as the area has been split. This role rewards new business but also the account management side is pivotal as well. You will be a go getter and be targeting businesses that supply and fit windows in this geographical area. This role is not targeting trade businesses or one-man band business it’s the larger companies that supply and fit windows generally to domestic or retail, they do have existing trade business but this isn’t the focus. Based from home you will have a database to work from but you will need to be proactive in your approach. In a nutshell it’s a sales role.

Job role:-

  • Identify right profile prospects within your area.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns which target your prospects.
  • Follow up and report on all sales enquiries received.
  • Plan and optimise your own field based calls.
  • Product and service presentations to prospects and customers in the field.
  • Arrange and conduct customer factory visits.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and related terms.
  • Oversee Customer account set up administration.
  • Negotiate ongoing customer support agreements.
  • Achieve growth by hitting sales targets.
  • Identify market shifts and new product or service requirements.
  • Report on your competitor status.
  • Present monthly sales and revenue reports.
  • Prepare rolling three-month sales forecasts for your area.
  • Organise and publish your own diary within the Sales department.
  • Update CRM database following customer calls and visits.

The company are offering a base salary of up to £50k base and realistic OTE in the first year would be an additional £10 to £15k however year 2 you get bonuses on repeat business from your previously new customers, so you earn significantly more going forward.

Interviews to happen ASAP and car, laptop, mobile will all be provided. To be considered for this role you will have worked ideally in this industry however if you have construction sales experience then of course please apply as its worth having a good conversation.
