Your new company


A global telecommunications client is looking for an experienced Finance Systems Project Manager to join the wider team. This ideal candidate will be a key member of the Finance Systems Teams, delivering an ERP Service to Business. This includes business support, systems analysis, training and implementation of new developments. This will be across P2P, O2C, R2R, Payroll, Procurement, Employee Expenses, Fixed Assets and Projects.

Your new role


As the experienced Finance Systems Project Manager, you will be transforming the systems to deliver key services and lead/assist in the delivery of enhancements and projects in a timely right first time manner, in line with the client's wider goals.


The ideal candidate must be able to commit to 2 days minimum a week on-site based on project need.

  • Deliver day-to-day support of Oracle ERP services across the various instances and modules, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information within the system
  • Manage services from clients and outsource partners to achieve business requirements.
  • Holding Partners to account, including periodic reviews, contracts SLA and KPI management along with capacity management and disaster recovery planning
  • Communicating key plans, requirements, solutions, dependencies, risks and issues and ensuring resources to support delivery are available.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement, and initiating activities from seeking approval to delivery
  • Ensuring month-end services delivered at critical times for Finance as well as ERP
  • Assist in execution of SOX role within the OneERP Programme, that will consolidate existing multiple ERP systems into a new SaaS-based application
  • Be the centre of knowledge for how things work from a systems' perspective, particularly in the Projects and Fixed Asset space.

  • Strong communications skills and credibility operating at all levels of the organisation (Analyst through to Director)
  • Able to prioritise and juggle workload User experience and process understanding delivering to internal customer expectations.
  • Experience of working with third party teams from a support and process perspective
  • Tenacious and focused on outcomes with quality and compliance high on the agenda.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and adopt innovative delivery mechanisms
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle R12 Projects and Assets modules
  • Strong interpersonal skills, getting the best out of teams and people.
