We are looking for an experienced Visual Inspector to work for a Company that specialise in the design and subcontract
manufacturing of high precision components for the automotive and aerospace markets.
This is a great opportunity to learn and grow your skills further within CNC and CMM work
Experience:
. Experience as a Visual Inspector in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
. Experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industry is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
. Can use Hand Held measuring tools, Linear Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Surface Finish Testers etc.
. Excellent numeracy skills.
. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and have basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel).
. Quality control preferably AS9100.
. Meticulous attention to detail.
. Excellent communication & time management skills
Duties / Responsibilities
. Perform routine visual and dimensional inspection and check for surface defects, cleaning, chipping, etc.
. Produce Inspection reports and FAIR's
. Complete NCR's when necessary and support 8D process
. Ensure all processing has been carried out in accordance with route cards.
. Monitor Calibrated Equipment List
