My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Hydraulic Modeller to join an expanding Water and Environmental Team based in Basingstoke.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience using Infoworks ICM or Infoworks WS.

This exciting role will offer training and support from the Flood Risk Team in Basingstoke. Candidates will be required to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

As an Assistant Hydraulic Modeller you will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Flood Estimation using ReFH and Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
