We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Clients team. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining their properties and corporate estate and be a lead top other Technicians in the team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Act as the first point of escalation and support to workplace technicians, overseeing and supporting the delivery of routine maintenance both internally and externally.
  • Liaise with the planned maintenance and compliance coordinator to manage the BAU workload of the technician team, ensuring efficient resource deployment and prioritisation of key tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, diagnose and repair electrical issues, and carry out installations.
  • Maintain accurate records, provide detailed reports and certification, and ensure safe systems of work are in place.
  • Assist the Workplace Manager - Technical in delivering regular toolbox talks, training, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure 3rd party contractors are programmed, supervised appropriately, and adhere to approved risk assessment method statements (RAMS).
  • Carry out site and van audits, quality assurance checks of completed works, and stock checks to ensure high standards and availability of critical spares.
  • Lead by example in carrying out a wide range of reactive work to a high standard and within SLA.
  • Cover for technicians across the team during absence, peak periods, or as work requirements dictate.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues and contractors to ensure an integrated contribution to our corporate objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or training program in electrical installation, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing).
  • Previous experience as an electrician, with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • Ability to be office-based and travel between sites as required.
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Team player with an enthusiastic, customer-focused attitude and proactive approach.
