The Role
We are looking for an Electronics Engineering Technician / Instructor to:

Prepare and set up equipment and components for practical sessions.

Interpret diagrams and assemble circuits, PCBs, and PLC systems for teaching delivery.

Demonstrate techniques such as soldering, wiring, and PCB assembly to students.

Support lecturers and aid students through practical demonstrations and one-to-one assistance.

Order, maintain, and manage stock of components, ensuring workshops run smoothly.

Promote safe working practices and maintain high-quality workshop standards.
About You
You’ll have a strong background in electronics/electrical engineering with excellent practical skills and a collaborative, learner-focused approach.
Essential skills and experience:

Level 3 or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Skilled in soldering, PCB assembly, wiring, and working with PLCs.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage equipment and stock.

Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop/lab environments.
Desirable:

Experience mentoring, training, or instructing others.

Teaching or assessor qualifications (or willingness to work towards).
