VDA / Assistant Manager

Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced VDA Assistant Manager to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to support the day-to-day management of the site while producing accurate repair estimates and ensuring efficient repair processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex or similar systems.

• Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers.

• Support the Bodyshop Manager with daily operations and workflow management.

• Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.

• Motivate and support the team to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role desirable.

• ATA VDA Accreditation desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.

• Strong understanding of modern repair methods and estimating software.

• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

• Full UK driving licence.
