Night shift Process Operator -Location: Basingstoke RG24 Shifts: Monday to Friday, 22:00 - 06:00 Contract Type: Full-Time Hourly Rate: £17.42We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation, is seeking a Night Shift Process Operator to join their high-performing manufacturing team. Working within the Microbiology Division, this role supports the production of Dehydrated Culture Media-critical products used in disease diagnostics and ensuring safety in food and environmental testing.About the RoleAs a Night shift Process Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing Dehydrated Culture Media products. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities

  • Always maintain safe and ethical working practices.
  • Follow defined processes for batch manufacturing, labelling, and stock updates.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and contribute insights.
  • Track and report daily goals, engage in performance reviews, and act on feedback.
  • Understand and apply team and departmental performance and safety metrics.
  • Maintain training records within the company's quality management system.
  • Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

Education

  • Education: Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, production, lab, or related field. Prior cGMP experience desirable

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely.
  • Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and basic computer applications (including email)
  • Demonstrates Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
