Administration Team Leader

Location: Basingstoke - Office based

Job Type: Full-Time, permanent

Our client is seeking an Administration Team Leader to join a growing operations team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, compliant administration processes, and continuous improvement. You’ll lead and motivate a high-performing team, oversee savings administration activities, and support key strategic initiatives within the business.

You will support the delivery of better customer experiences through innovation, simplicity and outstanding customer service. This is an exciting opportunity working in a fast-paced and supportive environment in which you can truly grow and make a difference.

Experience working within financial services / banking is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the savings administration team.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet business needs and maintain service levels.
  • Provide line management, coaching, and development to team members.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex customer enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and operational reporting (MI).
  • Monitor team output for quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
  • Deliver training to support upskilling and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support service delivery and communications.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes and best practice (e.g., BCOBS, TCF).
  • Ensure processes comply with data protection, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
