Your new companyA key role has come to market within the UK arm of an international group in North East Hampshire who have demonstrated a strong culture through all of our interactions with the business in recent years. They seek to appoint a Finance Manager in a matrix environment.Your new roleYou will oversee all aspects of the working capital for the UK entity with ownership of the financial responsibilities relating to stock, duty and VAT, including the monthly reconciliation and HMRC submissions. You will enhance and ensure a robust control environment is maintained whilst implementing any new updates with respect to standard changes coming down the line. You will work closely with the shared services team and act as a finance business partner to the supply chain team, analysing large data sets as required in order to provide management information and insights. Furthermore, you will liaise with the auditors, enhance the business as they develop their financial systems and support additional projects as required.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant with strong technical reporting skills. Knowledge of working capital and cash-flow forecasting is highly desirable, as is exposure to HMRC rules and the movement of stock. You will demonstrate a strong eye for detail and relish working within a high-performing culture.
