Forklift Driver (Combi/Sideloader)
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver (Combi/Sideloader) to join our team at our busy distribution centre in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Combi Lift (multi-directional forklift) to move stock and materials
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Support with stock checks and inventory management
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area
- Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
Requirements
- Valid Combi Lift (Multi-directional Forklift) license
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Good understanding of manual handling and safe working practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and with a positive work ethic
