Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities
A Senior Weight Control Engineer is required as part of the Basingstoke technical team, to support our clients engineering activities on existing and new offshore structure projects, both for conventional Oil & Gas, renewable and carbon capture initiatives.
The candidate will be a valuable resource on the Projects for the definition and monitoring of weight for offshore facilities, including but not limited to being responsible for the compilation of weight control reports and weight control database of jacket, deck and foundation systems. They will work on all design phases and will work on both greenfield and brownfield developments.
Requirements
- Candidate must be experienced with weight control activities in all design conditions, and conversant with the principal design codes and standards (ISO (phone number removed).
- Being familiar with weight trends and weight typical expected values and being conversant with other disciplines standards and design processes would be a major advantage for this position
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and dealing with various internal and external stakeholders would also be advantageous.
