Network Engineer
Salary to £75,000 plus package up to £93,000
Basingstoke site - some hybrid working
Must be eligible for DV Security Clearance
Sanderson Government and Defence are supporting a major supplier to the UK MoD and wider government in their search for a Network Architect to support a variety of critical programmes across the sector.
You will be based on site in Basingstoke with some work from home where possible taking into account project requirements.
You will also be required to obtain DV Security Clearance, this will be sponsored by the client, however this will neccessitate a lead time of approximately 3-6 months. Please consider how this would work with your circumstances.
As this role is intended to across multiple programmes, the client is open minded in terms of your technical skillset. There are however a couple of requirements as follows:
- Project based (i.e not just BAU) understanding of EITHER Juniper or Cisco
- CCNP level qualification or another vendor's equivalent
- An understanding of a client focussed environment
- A willingness to pick up client and sector specific technologies as required
- Experience working in an architecture or equivalent role, you do not need to have neccessarily held the job title
In addition there will also at times be a management aspect of this role, including some line management. You do not need experience of this, however some previous experience of mentoring or similar would be beneficial.
