We are seeking an experienced Workplace Integration Engineer to join our dynamic Integration Practice. This role is integral to our team, working closely with Network Architects and Project Managers to configure and document deliverables from various vendors. The position is challenging, varied, and requires a proactive approach to continuous learning and teamwork.
Day-to-day of the role:- Modify design documentation to correct potential defects and ensure all solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Configure Linux environments (RHEL and CentOS) and automate deployment using Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop and support solutions as part of a DevOps team, with a focus on web-site development using Apache and PHP.
- Own the delivery of a work package from design through prototyping to production, including user piloting and early life support.
- Create and maintain support and design documentation to assist users and support personnel.
- Deliver ongoing changes to the work package in response to evolving user requirements.
- Work closely with the team to find better, faster, and more effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in configuring Linux environments and automating deployments.
- Proficient in batch scripting with a solid understanding of networking and IP packet structure.
- Experience in web-site development using Apache and PHP.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems administration within an enterprise environment.
- Experience with Active Directory, PKI, VMWare virtualisation, Windows Server 2019, system hardening, and Nexus configuration repositories.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for scripting, automation, or test creation.
- Familiarity with automated test execution using Robot framework.
- Experience in the development and delivery of software using Agile Methodologies.
