Are you an experienced inventory management professional looking for a new challenge? This company is seeking a talented Inventory Controller to join their dynamic team in Basingstoke.



About the Role

As the Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing the global inventory levels for a set of critical spare parts. Your primary focus will be ensuring a >99% spare parts availability to support the company's breakdown requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Regularly reviewing and optimising stock levels for each part based on historical usage and forecast
  • Maintaining stock levels in each warehouse and coordinating inbound and outbound spare parts/returns shipments
  • Maintaining and publishing KPIs to highlight and escalate any stock level concerns
  • Utilising the company's ERP system (Sage) to run reports, analyse data, and support on-time delivery to customers


What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Inventory Controller role will have:

  • Proven experience in inventory management and warehousing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Confidence in dealing with third-party suppliers and processing purchase orders
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, such as Sage, and data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI
