Working closely alongside a growing firm in Basingstoke, we are searching for a professional, well mannered and confident Receptionist to join their team!
This is a great role for a candidate keen add to their existing reception experience within a professional and highly regarded team!
Our client has an excellent reputation in the local area for their charitable and community work, as well as high standards for staff wellbeing.
The Role
As a receptionist, your role will be varied day to day, heavily influenced by the business's needs.
Responsibilities could include but would not be limited to:
- First point of contact for inbound calls / emails to the business
- Greeting clients who enter the building and helping them
- Taking deliveries and sending post
- Managing meeting room diaries
- Ensuring guests, clients and all visitors are checked into the office and that relevant team members know they have arrived
- Setting up meeting rooms
- Other ad hoc and reactive responsibilities
Due to the nature of the role, our client is keen to find a candidate with previous reception experience, ideally within a professional environment. But they can be flexible for the right character.
The successful candidate will likely be:
- Based locally, either in or close by to basingstoke
- Have 1+ years experience in a reception role (or similar)
- A friendly face with a positive demeanour
- Professional and comfortable taking calls and speaking with clients face to face.
