Are you an experienced procurement professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic thinker to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence high-value procurement decisions and lead a team that delivers real impact across the organisation.

About the Role:

You will lead procurement activities across a diverse range of categories. You’ll be responsible for managing strategic spend, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring value for money through effective supplier engagement. This role also involves mentoring a team of category managers and contributing to the organisation’s procurement transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies across key business areas

Manage and support a team of category managers to deliver best-in-class procurement outcomes

Oversee complex procurement projects, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in procurement processes

Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and internal governance

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives

Utilise data analytics to inform strategic sourcing decisions

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in procurement, category management, and supplier relationship management

Strong leadership and team development skills

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities

In-depth knowledge of public procurement regulations

Experience managing high-value and complex procurement projects

Qualifications:

Degree in a relevant field – Desirable but not essential

CIPS qualification – Desirable but not essential
