Production Planner

Basingstoke 

£35,000 £40,000 Bonus

We provide EMS and supply chain services to leading technology companies across the UK and Europe, working with customers in commercial, space, defence, transport, audio, motorsport, and instrumentation sectors.

As we open our new world-class facility, were looking for a skilled Production Planner with experience in electronic manufacturing to help shape the future of our growing business.

What Youll Do

  • Plan and schedule production across multiple lines, resolving issues and escalating when required.

  • Use SIOP processes to optimise planning and ensure production runs to schedule.

  • Manage customer purchase orders, contract reviews, and NPI/production orders.

  • Work with multi-level BOMs, digital data, drawings, and part numbers.

  • Create and plan work orders covering the entire build process in detail.

  • Monitor NPI orders, close feedback loops, and track engineering updates.

  • Liaise with customers, account managers, and internal teams to keep projects on track.

What Were Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in complex manufacturing (SMT / Process / Test across multiple lines) is desirable

  • Knowledge of SIOP processes

  • ERP & MRP system user experience

  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings

Desirable:

  • Engineering background, ideally in Electronics Manufacturing

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Confident communicator with staff, customers, and suppliers
