About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Solderer / Assembly Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in Basingstoke. This hands-on role involves the precise assembly and soldering of electronic components and sub-assemblies for use in a range of technical products.

You'll play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working in a clean, well-equipped production environment as part of a supportive team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and wiring harnesses to technical drawings and build instructions

  • Carry out quality checks and rework where required

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions

  • Use hand tools and semi-automated assembly equipment

  • Maintain accurate records of work and follow internal quality and safety procedures

  • Assist with testing, fault-finding, and final assembly of products as needed



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in soldering and electronic/mechanical assembly

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • A proactive and flexible attitude with a willingness to learn
