Solderer / Assembly Technician

Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Solderer / Assembly Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in Basingstoke. This hands-on role involves the precise assembly and soldering of electronic components and sub-assemblies for use in a range of technical products.
You'll play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working in a clean, well-equipped production environment as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electro-mechanical components and wiring harnesses to technical drawings and build instructions
Carry out quality checks and rework where required
Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
Use hand tools and semi-automated assembly equipment
Maintain accurate records of work and follow internal quality and safety procedures
Assist with testing, fault-finding, and final assembly of products as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in soldering and electronic/mechanical assembly
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and flexible attitude with a willingness to learn
