Job Role: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire (applications accepted from surrounding counties)
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum (£45,000+ OTE)
Hours: 8:00-17:00 Monday-Friday + overtime @ 1.5x
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Package:

The Duties:

  • Fault Diagnosis: Accurately diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on various forklifts
  • Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with customers regarding lifting and handling products
  • Independent Work: Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered
  • Site Travel: Actively travel to sites, carry out equipment repairs, and create solutions
  • Technical Work: Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs

The Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  • Skills: Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Forklift, Plant, HGV, and/or Agricultural industries (advantageous)
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with engines and batteries (advantageous)
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  • License: Full UK Driver's License
