About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher to join a specialist setting in Basingstoke. This role involves teaching and supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, creating a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes academic progress and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and individual education plans.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other professionals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching students with SEMH needs (specialist or mainstream settings).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting vulnerable learners and promoting positive outcomes.
