About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and committed SENCO to join a specialist SEMH school in Basingstoke. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring high-quality provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school.
  • Coordinate and implement EHCPs and individual support plans.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to meet student needs.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on SEND strategies and best practice.

Requirements:

  • SENCO qualification (or willingness to complete).
  • Proven experience in a SENCO or similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and SEMH strategies.

Hours & Pay:
