Temporary Payroll Administrator

Location: Basingstoke

Contract: Temporary (3–6 months)

Rate:  £13.50 - £14.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediately

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Payroll Administrator to join a dynamic finance team and ensure the smooth and accurate processing of payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for weekly and monthly employees
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Support year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a payroll administration role
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory deductions
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage, ADP, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
