A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a UK known automotive manufacturer in the Basingstoke
With no day ever being the same the Quality Inspector this role will give you the opportunity to get your foot in the door within a new and innovative industry!
Roles and Responsibilites:
- Inspection of incoming goods
- Support full quality inspections in compliance to AS9100
- Complete internal audits and non-conformity reports as required
- Inspection reports using FAIRS
- Final inspection of parts
- Using various tools for inspection
- Assisting with callibration systems
- Liaising with production team and section leaders
Keys Skills and Experience:
- Advanced apprenticeship or Higher education Qualification in mechanical engineering
- Experieince as mechanical insectgor or quality inspector in CNC or preciison engineering
- Proficient in hand held measuring tools - linear hieght gauges - bore gauges - surface finish testers
- preferably have experience in AS9100 astandards
- some experience in CMM (ideally Mitutoyo)
