Estates Officer

3-month Contract

Our client, is looking for an Estate Officer to join the team. This role is pivotal in maintaining relationships with the local community and their business, by providing a customer service both on the phone and face to face having doorstep conversations.  This role will be based on-site, not in an office.

You will need a full UK driving license, your own vehicle for business use and mileage will be paid.

A basic DBS check will be required to be successful in this role.

Duties include…

  • Carrying out Estate Inspections on communal areas and roads, to identify any repairs, risks and ensure the areas are tidy and well maintained.
  • Completing door knocks to customers to help arrange gas and electric safety checks (door step conversations)
  • Completing tasks connected with Fire Risk Assessments (checking items removed from communal areas, raising repairs to get fly tipping/cupboards/lofts cleared, attaching notices to items left in communal areas)
  • Carry out assessments of communal areas against customer standard and identify improvements
  • Maintain proactive and scheduled contact with customers
  • IT & Reporting - Basic digital skills to log inspections, raise repairs, or update records

Skills and Abilities

  • Customer Service & Communication - Confident in face-to-face interactions (e.g. doorstep conversations). Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with a diverse range of people.
  • Good attention to details
  • Good digital skills to update systems and inspections information
  • Physical Mobility - Comfortable with walking, climbing stairs, and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Additional Details

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm
  • Friday 8.30 – 4.30pm
  • £13.51 per hour plus travel expenses
  • Paid weekly by the agency
