If so, this is the role for you! Based in Alton, you will elevate and deliver the brunch menu, along with other seasonal menus throughout the year. Hours will vary depending on the person, with expectations to discussed on the first phone call. They want to make sure every customer leaves happy, so they’re looking for someone who likes to go above and beyond! What you’ll be doing as Catering Supervisor:This role involves ensuring food safety standards are met and delivering exceptional service. You will play a crucial role in coordinating food production and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the catering process.Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Assisting in menu planning, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences of clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
  • Coordinating with event planners to ensure seamless execution of catering.
  • Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service.
  • Managing inventory levels within approved budget.
What we’re looking for in a Catering Supervisor:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a catering environment, ideally delivering a brunch menu.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
  • Culinary qualifications or relevant experience in kitchen operations is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of catering services.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
