Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Support - Permanent position - Basingstoke Academics have an exciting opportunity for you to join an amazing Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Basingstoke which provides education for pupils aged 10-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs and autism, (SEMH) (ASC).The are looking to appoint a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Support (SWAS) to become part of their growing team. This is a permanent position starting in September/ASAP, working 42.5 hours per week.To be considered for the role of Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Support, you must have previous training/experience within a safeguarding/attendance role/Social Services/Police, have GCSE Maths and English grades between A-C and having a good understanding of attendance protocols.This role is suited to someone who is able to remain calm under pressure, be patient, empathetic, build strong relationships with young people and understand and respect the need for confidentiality.If you have previous experience of working in the position of Safeguarding, Welfare or Attendance Management or support or feel you have the right qualities for the role and can commute to Basingstoke for work, please apply and send a copy of your up to date CV.
