Our client is looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail to join their team and grow within their fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:- Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters and sheet rollers.- interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD files- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on a variety of metals- Repair and fabricate metal parts using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG and Laser welding- Use hand and power tools to clean, assemble and finish products- Maintain a clean and organised workspaceRequirments for this role:- Previous experience within sheet metal fabrication- Confident MIG and TIG welder- Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, fabrication techniques and machine operating- Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings- Physical strength to handle heavy materials and equipment's- Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a teamThe Fabricator role:- Salary of £38,000 per annum depending on experience- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm- Medical cash planIf you are interested in this Fabricator position, please apply below or get in contact with Jemma at Pertemps.
