42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Overview

Interaction Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Baston, who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced logistics professional or strong administrator looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the logistics and dispatch process, supporting both internal teams and customers to maintain an efficient and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out administrative tasks within the Logistics department to ensure delivery schedules are met.

  • Coordinate the dispatch and collection of export orders, completing all customs documentation accurately and on time.

  • Manage and process daily outgoing deliveries.

  • Organise and schedule customer collections, maintaining clear communication with customers throughout.

  • Deliver excellent customer service within the Logistics department, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and professionally.

  • Answer inbound calls and welcome visitors, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

  • Raise purchase orders and process departmental invoices in line with company procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, delivery notes, and customer order information.

  • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency and workflow within the department.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Logistics team, assisting during busy seasonal periods as required.

Skills & Experience Required
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics or transport administration role (required).

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • A proactive and positive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
