Our client is recruiting for a great opportunity to work within a highly technical environment, working with customers across the world manufacturing unique products.

EHS Admin Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, company policies and international standards
  • Maintain a safe, compliant and environmentally sustainable workplace while promoting positive safety culture across organisation
  • Various administrative work and utilising IT databases and systems
  • Engaging with all levels of staff
  • Identify and implement improvements in HSE processes
  • Be involved with risk assessments, SOP writing, and auditing processes

The ideal EHS Admin will:

  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills and organisation skills
  • Able to identify and implement improvements to HSE processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Familiarity with risk assessments, SOP writing, and auditing processes.
  • Some understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, including their application and maintenance.
  • Desire to learn and improve Health, Safety and Environmental standards and improve the welfare of the workforce.
  • Capability to investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Knowledge of COSHH, Waste Management and Environmental Compliance
  • Experience in river water sampling and environmental monitoring (Desirable)
  • NEBOSH and IOSH certification (Desirable)

EHS Manager working hours and benefits:

  • 36.25 hours a week Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:00 Friday 09:00 - 16:00
