Daily Duties

  • Work across all RIBA stages, from concept design through technical delivery and construction
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and client expectations
  • Lead the interpretation of project briefs and development of design proposals through to detailed design
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate design submissions and technical information, including drawings, reports, and specifications
  • Manage project fees and invoicing, with administrative support where required
  • Support the securing of new work and contribute to business development activities
  • Promote the practice and contribute to positive profile and PR
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while leading small project teams when required
  • Attend site visits and support regional project work

Ideal Candidate

  • ARB-registered UK-qualified Architect
  • Strong design ability supported by a solid technical understanding
  • Proven proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Professional experience within a high-quality, design-led architectural practice
  • Strong interest in large-scale projects, with the ability to manage smaller or multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and lead small teams independently
  • Excellent drawing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in client-facing situations
  • Awareness of the sensitivities involved in client communication and presentations
  • Ability to balance competing workloads across multiple projects
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating technical information and design submissions
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
