You'll act as a trusted adviser on a wide range of employee relations matters, policies and employment law, helping to ensure a fair, compliant and people-focused approach to HR practice.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional HR advice on absence, disciplinary, performance and grievance issues.
Support leaders with employee relations cases through to hearings and appeals.
Provide guidance on employment law, organisational policies and best practice.
Attend welfare meetings and advise on Occupational Health, phased returns and reasonable adjustments.
Contribute to policy development and organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE.
Develop and deliver HR training to managers and staff.
Maintain accurate HR records and support statutory reporting.
Support safer recruitment, compliance and robust onboarding processes.
Promote wellbeing initiatives and positive workforce engagement.
About You
CIPD Level 5 (minimum) with solid generalist HR experience.
Confident advising managers on a broad range of people issues.
Skilled in managing complex HR cases and applying employment legislation.
Experience supporting organisational change.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Professional, confidential and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
