REED Business Support in Bath is delighted to be supporting a local company in Bath in their search for a Sales Office Manager. You will be managing a small and very happy team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and dedicated to delivering excellent results for our clients. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage a team, drive business growth and ensure exceptional customer service.

£30-35,000

35 hour week (Monday - Friday)

ASAP start 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring operational efficiency and high standards of service.
  • Oversee all aspects of sales, including going out to see customers.
  • Set and review office and personal targets to ensure performance objectives are met.
  • Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for business growth within the local market.
  • Deliver quick response times and maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring staff members do the same.
  • Maintain and build a happy, productive workforce by monitoring and motivating the Sales team.
  • Ensure staff adopt procedures and policies correctly, conducting ad hoc checks as necessary.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries, queries and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years office management experience, preferably in a sales environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff members at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering quick and effective responses.
  • Good local knowledge and a strategic mindset for identifying business opportunities.
  • Reasonable IT knowledge and proficiency in adapting to new software systems.
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle are necessary.
